提高汽车电源系统的电压，能有效地降低电池重量，增加汽车行使里程及适用于各种车载电器的需要。汽车用高电压铅蓄电池在国外早已开发并使用，我国应尽快列入议事日程。探讨了汽车用铅蓄电池电压的选择和24V、42V及双电池的组合连接方式；介绍了国外双电池的研究概况。
